7/14/11 - CPEAR has been taking it a
little slow the last couple months due to our team member Patience getting diagnosed with brain cancer. We all wish her the
best of luck and we pray on a regular basis for a speedy recovery. She is in out thoughts and prayers.
The 2nd half of the
year seams to be picking up. We will be investigating the USS Salem battleship July 22nd, as well as Palmyra in NY and a private
residence in August. We will also be returning to Nu Nu's Bistro in Colchester in Oct. We are also booked for 3 lectures in the
fall as well.
3/6/11 - It was a very busy weekend for
CPEAR this weekend. We had our group split up for 2 cases this weekend. Some of us went to PA to help a family that involved
their 7 year old son, while other members of our group, along with our friends from CT Soul Seekers's Nicole Hall & Angel
Ortiz handled another case in Southington, CT for CPEAR. Both cases went excellent and 2 families were helped.
2/1/11 - Thank
you everyone for being patient with us while we try and get things updated on our site. I know we are very slow with putting
up blogs on the places we visit. We will try and do a better job with the blogs for this year. We are also gonna start a separate
page for evidence in 2011 instead of just having evidence we caught within the case files and having to search for it, so
it will be easier to view. So far this year has started off pretty busy for us with already
6 investigations either planned or in the process of doing. Thanks to fellow CPEAR investigator
Chuck Feltman, we now have started a working relationship with a new group out of Mass called K & M Paranormal. We hope
to investigate with them often in 2011 to further our relationship and learn from each-others work and findings. Also, we have been updating the section of our website called "Public Ghost Hunts" that have strictly places
that hold investigations for teams and people that are just looking for a place to investigate that has a high chance of activity.
10/23/10 -
CPEAR had a booth set up at the Fall Harvest Festival in Torrington, CT. We were lucky enough to be located directly across
from the Warner Theater where Taps was Presenting the same night. Thanks to everyone that stop by the booth. Also, a special thanks to Ed Harris for helping us out and standing
out in the cold with us all night.
10/17/10 - Had
a great lecture at the Stanley-Whitman House today. The room was full with 40+. Thank you to everyone that attended. ![]()

Had a great time presenting at the New Milford Lecture with the other presenters there that night. It was nice meeting Donna
& Andy from East Coast S.C.A.R.E. & Nathan Schoonover from Extreme Paranormal. It was also great presenting with our
friends from CPRS Joe & Orlando. Thank you to Nathan Schoonover for having us. Thank you to the 130+ people that came
out to see all of us that presented.

2/6/10 - The lecture at the Wooster "Masonic" Lodge in Colchester last night went very well. The room was
packed with 90 people in attendance. Some people even stood for the entire 2 hour presentation. Than you to everyone that
came out to see us.
1/21/10 - CPEAR was accepted as an official family member of the GAC - Ghost Adventures Crew.

CPEAR conducted an investigation of a private residence in the Kansas City area. This was the farthest that the team
has ventured out to do an investigation. The team is planning a second investigation at the home in March 2010 with
the assistance of a local group from that area. Stayed tuned...
10/24/09 - CPEAR
Co-founder Carrie Kerns wrote an article about her past experiences and CPEAR in the upcoming edition of the Southington Observer
set for release Oct.29th in Southington, CT. In other news, we are investigating a Vernon Residence tonight in
Vernon, CT. The homeowners believe their house is still occupied by a relative that passed earlier this year and would like
us to try and make contact.
10/22/09 -
CPEAR broke an an attendance record at their presentation last night at the Berlin - Peck Memorial Library in Berlin, CT.
The previous record was 70 people. Last night we had 100 people in attendance. Thank you to everyone for your support.  
10/19/09 - Our
booth at The Apple Harvest Fest in Glastonbury, CT went well one out of the two days this past weekend. We had over a hundred
people on day one come by asking us questions about the paranormal. Day two got rained out. 
10/11/09 -CPEAR
will have a booth at the Glastonbury, CT. Apple Harvest Festival on Sat. Oct. 17th & Sun. Oct. 19th. Please come out and see some of the evidence we have collected and ask questions.

"The Haunting in Connecticut" was released today on DVD. Members of CPEAR made an appearance
in the special features section in the interviews. Member, Jill Longo-Frascatore, played in the Southington home as a kid with her friend that lived in the home.
5/30/09 -We
are currently in talks with A&E about being part of an upcoming episode of Psychic Kids. - We will tell you
more about this in the fall of 2009.
5/29/09 - We
completed our 3rd lecture last night at the Glastonbury, CT Public Library. The place was completely booked solid with
over 70+ people in attendance. Thank you to everyone that came out to see our presentation! It was amazing. 
4/23/09 - CPEAR was filmed by Lions Gate Films
at their latest presentation at the Southington Library on April 23rd, 2009. Founders Carrie Kerns & Mike Mafera
also did interviews with the popular production company for a possible spot in the special features section of "A Haunting
in Connecticut" DVD, set for release sometime this summer.
