1-21-09 Old Lyme, CT
A private residence.
Claims
of activity:
Family of three, Dad, Mom, and 3 year old girl, living in a 2 bedroom house.
Father contacted different paranormal groups claiming his daughter was seeing "monsters coming out from under her bed."
Tappings and bangs in the walls, windows, and roof.
The mom was shoved in the bathroom by an unseen force.
The family would see black shadows out of the corners of their eyes.
The daughter would talk to said
"monsters" and a little boy.
One night the daughter was very upset about the monsters. The monster had
told her to go outside. When she refused, the "monsters got mad at her" and she became very upset.
Dad went in to calm her down. While stroking her hair he felt someone pinch him on his side, not once but twice.
This worried the parents and they moved their daughter into their bedroom for safety. The night after
she changed rooms Dad was watching TV after work about 1am, when he heard clearly someone say into his ear "Where is
she?"
The family also has 5 cats, 4 of the 5 cats wouldn't go in the daughter's bedroom.
THIS FAMILY THEN CONTACTED CPEAR
On Friday 1-23-09 CPEAR
investigator Sal conducted a in home interview with the client.
Sal interviewed the Father, and the
3 year old daughter. A digital recorder was placed in the living room, and the daughter's room. After the
interview Sal was told that the Mom had given permission to another very credible investigative team CPRS, to do the investigation.
The client then requested a House Blessing to be performed by Sal.
After performing the
blessing, the audio was reviewed by CPEAR investigator Sal at a separate location. The recordings were
very clear, and there were no evp's or unexplained noises during the interview, and the House Blessing. Sal
determined there was nothing evil in the Old Lyme home, and also reported this to the client. A formal investigation
was recommended, and CPRS is taking over the case. CPEAR founder Mike Mafera was also in contact with Sal during
during this process and was advised of all situations.

Client
contacted CPEAR investigator Sal and said that the other team from CPRS brought along a psychic medium on 1-27-09.
The client also stated that the psychic said there were some spirits there, but could not sense any evil presence.
He also felt there was a huge amount of positive energy in the house, and he could see a bright light of protection around
and inside the house. He felt the house was protected. The client then told Sal that the members of CPRS and the
psychic were not told of the House blessing performed on the 23rd.
The client also happily reports that after
the blessing, all the knocking and rappings stopped, the feeling of fear was gone, and they feel comfortable in their home
again.
The 3 year old daughter also reports that the "monsters" don't bother her anymore.
Oh, and now the cats are slowly going in and out of the daughters room...
