Intelligent Haunt - An intelligent haunt is where a ghost or spirit can and will interact with you or its surroundings. It knows you are there and it is aware of the present.

Residual Haunt- A residual haunt is like a movie that plays over and over again. It isn't aware of the present and can't interact with you.
