The Gunntown cemetery is one of the most known haunted cemeteries in CT. The Warrens investigated here and siad it to contain evil presences. There have been voices of children heard here and ghostly images.

CPEAR decided to investigate this cemetery after reading many stories about the place online and in books. We tried locating the management company for this cemetery to ask questions and get permission, but found no records or contact info for anyone regarding this cemetery. Also, before the investigation, we took a drive to take a look around during the day to make sure there were not any "No Tresspassing" signs present. We discovered there were no signs or cemetery hours of operation. We decided to give it a shot.

We arrived at th cemetery around 9pm. We set up voice recorders & night vision cameras. We also used EMF meters and digital cameras.

We didnt have any personal experiences in the 4 hours we were here. One of our investigators mangaged to capture a great ecto formation on his digital camera.

It is a very quiet cemetery for the most part. It does seem to attract local teenagers and young adults looking to experience a ghost or two. We encountered two groups of young adults not only looking for ghosts, but hoping to score some form of illegal substance. For the most part, they were respectful of our presence in the cemetery.

This picture was taken by Jay Peed. We are currently trying to get a more clearer picture to put up. This is a great shot of ecto. It looks like there is a face to the left of the investigators head. Do you see it? Also, if you look all the way to the left, it kinda looks like a head and form flying over the cemetery. This has to be the best picture of the investigation we did at Gunntown Cemetery. Nice work Jay!
