Carousel Gardens
Construction on Carousel Gardens ended in 1894 on 34 acres in Seymour CT.
The original owner was Mr. William Henry Harrison Wooster. The death of William Henry Harrison Wooster
on December 17, 1919, the age of 79, was mourned as the passing of the first citizen of Seymour and an outstanding figure
in Connecticut industrial circles. Anna L. Putnam Wooster, his wife, was laid to rest on March 2, 1927 at the age
of 86. *Legend has it that the Woosters may still lurk in the Mansion Reports
of activity include glowing eyes staring at employees, doors slamming, objects moving or have been thrown against walls, and
many mists, shadows, and apparitions showing up in photos. This amazing place is still open to the public,
and offers public ghost hunts, so CPEAR went to check it out.... It really is a beautiful place, but we
were unable to capture any evidence of the claims made this night.....
