CPEAR was contacted by a family in Wallingford CT about some activity that
was going on in thier house. This was a house that the family had just rented and moved into the week before.
The two sons were becoming uncomfortable in the house and had been seeing shadows, hearing doors slam, footsteps in the kitchen
and noises in the attic. Research on the location did not find anything of significance that happened in the house and
that it was over 100 years old.
CPEAR brought only 4 investigators to the home due to prior commitments but once
again the group had help from fellow PRG team the CT Soulseekers' Angel and Nicole. The teams investigated for
about 4 hours and used audio,video, EMF meters, the Oviullus and digital cameras. While no evidence presented itself
the group did find out some information that was shared with the homeowner. First where the younger son's bed was there
was a large EMF field coming through the wall from power lines outside. This can cause a lot of different types of reactions
from paranonia to hallucinations which could explain his uncomfortability as well as explanations of what he was expierencing.
Secondly, there was a woman who lived on the first floor and some noises heard by the teams that night were coming from the
first floor while she was home. Lastly, you could hear alot coming from outside as well as lights from the cars.
These all could be valid explanations for the experiences of the family. While these could explain the happenings we
cant dismiss what the family told us but we were unable to catch any evidence. We said a closing group prayer with the
family and the father gave notice that if there was a presence in the home it had to pass over and lead the family alone.
Upon going over the reveal
with the client he has since moved the younger sons bed to the other side of the bedroom and since the teams have been there
no more activity has been observed by the family. We are glad we could help this family and thank them for inviting
us into thier home.
