History & Activity:
The house was built around 1955. The family that lives
there now moved in around 2000. They are not afraid of what might be in the house, but curious as to who they are and what
they want. They decided to contact CPEAR to try and help.
While all the family had been in the basement rec room, they have heard people walking around on
the first floor when nobody is there. They hear heavy footsteps up and down the basement stairs on a regular basis. One of
the family members felt someone sit on the corner of the bed while trying to fall asleep. One night something actually sat
on his legs. The blinds have moved on there own in another bedroom. In the master bedroom, rings of condensation have appeared
on the ceiling a few times. They have also caught an evp of a possible woman saying hello in an Australian accent. Shadows
have been seen walking from the dining room to the kitchen.
The family has also experimented with the Ouija board to try and communicate. Pendulum scribing is
also done by the family to attempt communications. While using the pendulum, they claim they made contact with the original
owner of the house that says there is something they need to attend to in the attic.
Notes from our investigation:
It was a very quiet night until around midnight when the client decided to show us an
example of how she uses her ouija board. We strongly tried to discourage the use of the board and then explained the dangers
of using a ouija board. The clients had beliefs that they could use the board to contact their relatives. We did sit and down
with them on ways to use the board to try and make it a little safer for them if they were to continue using it. During the
ouija session, we had a KII meter set on the table near the board. The KII went off several times as the planchet moved across
the board. The was also an instance when one of the relatives felt something was in the room and got a severe headache that
only lasted a few minutes. The KII was going off when he mentioned his headache.
After the session, we all decided to go down to the basement to do a walkie EVP session.
This is where we take several walkie talkies and digital voice recorders and place them in several areas through the home
and we then ask questions from a designated area while we are all together.
While in the basement, nobody was in the rest of the house. Everyone was in the basement
staying quiet. We started hearing strange noises coming from the first floor. Taps, knocking sounds, and footsteps were heard.
At once point, it sounded like footsteps on the stairs coming down to the basement. We snapped a photo at that time and got
what looks like an orb in the photo.
Shortly
after the picture we had taken, a couple of investigators saw what appeared to be shadow movement at the top of the stairs.
Right then, two investigators saw what appeared to be someone poke there heard and shoulders around the corner of the doorway
at the top of the stairs, as if it were peaking done at us. Unfortunately, this was not caught on any of our equipment.
It quited down after that.
It was a good investigation. Based on what was experienced
by some of the team members, w would have to say that there is something going on there in the form of paranormal activity.
We plan on going back in the near future to try and catch this shadow figure that we had seen on this night.
