Hi, my name is Carrie Kerns
and I am one of the founders of Connecticut Paranormal Encounters and Research (CPEAR) along with Mike Mafera. Outside
of paranormal investigating I work full time as a Registered Nurse with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing. Growing up I lived in places experiencing
paranormal activity including shadow apparitions, unexplained footsteps, banging and knocking sounds, flushing of toilets, feelings
of being watched, and objects moving and falling off shelves/tables. I never felt threatened by the paranormal
activity within the houses I lived in and I became increasingly interested in the phenomena as I realized that
these occurrences weren't common. When I learned it was possible to investigate, capture and document proof
and research these paranormal occurances my interest in paranormal researching and investigating soared. I have a strong
desire to continue to encounter and research the paranormal while trying to help others to learn about, understand, and
manage any paranormal occurances they may be experiencing. My son Tyler has also experienced some of the paranormal
activity I had experienced while growing up and also shares the same interest in the paranormal and is our Junior Investigator.
