History & Activity:

This current owners of this house just moved in a few months ago. It was bought as an estate. The woman that lived in the house before passed away, so it was bought with everything in it.

We don't know at this current time if the woman died in the house or not. We do know that the house was built sometime in the late 1800's to early 1900's. The house came with some of the original appliances and fixtures that also dated back to when the house was built.

The  activity being reported at this time is voices being heard in the middle of the night and the current owners names being called out. They have heard a woman saying help me and come here. Also, they can hear the sound of a baby crying very loudly.  The front door has also opened up on its own and then closed. Experiencing  this is enough to make th owners nervous enough to call CPEAR.

The Investigation:

We arrived at the home around 8:30pm and set up 7 surveillance cameras to try and capture any time of movement on video.

After the cameras were set up, we had 3 team members keep an eye on the monitor at all times while the rest of the team stuck together and investigated various rooms of the house.

Some of the equipment that was being used on this night included night vision camcorders, EMF and KII meters, digital voice recorders, the Ovilus, and a plasma ball to generate emf incase any spirit wanted to draw in the energy.

We had one person documenting the investigation at all times with a night vision camcorder as it was conducted.  

Around 9:45pm, we were investigating the 2nd floor when we heard some unexplained noises coming from the bedroom at the end of the hall. We headed into that bedroom and ended up getting a hit on the or KII meter that made the lights on it flash to orange. We soon heard another noise that sounded like tapping coming from the other end of the hall way. It seemed like something was trying to avoid us or play games with us. We then went into the kids room where Chuck got another quick spike on the KII meter. At this time, Ann Marie's digital recorder was drained of its battery life. They also got a few strange feeling around this same time.

Around 10:30, we were investigating the kids room again when something may have been trying to make contact with us by make our walkie talkie act up and make squaking noises. Alec asked if it could make the walkie go off one time, sure enough it did. Could this have been a spirit trying to communicate or was it just interference of some kind?

Around 11:15pm, we picked up a couple of unexplained whispers on digital recorder while investigating the basement.

At about 11:45pm, Ray was upstairs on the 2nd floor when he got another spike on the KII meter, shortly after that spike he asked, "If you believe in Jesus Christ, can you make the lights flash again on the meter?". Right after he asked that, the lights on the meter began to flash.

It was a little after midnight when Alec, Chuck , and Mike decided to go up to the attic for a 15min provoking session to try and draw out any spirits that might be in the house. We often find that provoking is an effective tactic while trying to get a response from a spirit. Although we don't do this on a regular basis.

While our provoking session we managed to pick up an evp on our digital recorder. We joked by saying that Alec was the dark lord and what do you think about that... we then got a voice on the recorder that said "Can't".

Our investigation ended around 12:45am.

The conclusion:

Although we were able to get some evidence of paranormal activity here, we didn't have enough to come to a definite conclusion at this time.

If something is in the house, it seems that it may be religious. We got the hit on the KII after the question, do you believe in Jesus, and then we also got the evp "Can't", after asking what do you think about Alec being the dark lord.

After our investigation, we latter found out that the owners found several religous items around the house when it was bought and many crosses as well.
