Connecticut
Paranormal Encounters and Research (CPEAR) was formed
in January 2008 by Mike Mafera and Carrie Kerns. Both Mike and Carrie had experienced paranormal activity from a young
age which had spurred their desire to find answers. Mike Mafera has been investigating the paranormal with his father
since 1997 and in 2007 Mike began to instruct Carrie on his technique of paranormal investigating. Their mutual interest
in the paranormal and their desire to share their findings with the public lead to the formation of CPEAR.
CPEAR has a high interest in attempting to help people better understand what
they may be experiencing by educating our clients and the public, helping our clients feel safe and comfortable in their own
homes, as well as seeking answers for our clients while trying to find answers to our own questions.
"Our team
has a strong bond with a strong sense of trust
and commitment.As
a group we take pride in helping those in need and in search for answers
as well as educating the public about the paranormal, our investigative team, as well as evidence of the paranormal."
